Police search for missing persons

The car of a couple reported missing from Riverside County Monday was found on Highway 1 in Devil’s Slide yesterday afternoon, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.

Billy and Collenn Waterman were reported as missing persons Feb. 7.

Sheriff’s deputies, including search and rescue, are currently searching the area for the Watermans.

If is unknown whether they left the area on foot or by other means, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
