SACRAMENTO – Two more people have been arrested in connection with the death of 35-year-old Jason Fletcher, who was shot to death May 5 in south Sacramento during what investigators said was a drug deal and botched carjacking.

Sacramento police arrested Anthony Medina, 20, and David Valentino Whitehead, 18, on Monday, according to a department news release on Thursday.

Police arrested Brandon Theodore Morton, 22, and Holly Sarmento, 22, two days after the killing on Brookfield Drive and Franklin Boulevard.

All four suspects have been charged with homicide and attempted carjacking, police said.

Sacramento police said the San Mateo County Sheriff's Department was instrumental in finding Medina and Whitehead.
